speed: servers are the fastest in terms of processing power and are the fastest on this list as they are essentially several powerful computers connected together via a network and are able to run every computer on that network at once. accessibility: like computers servers can be upgraded rather easily though it takes a lot of time as they are so large. portability: servers are usually bolted to the floor and very heavy so they are the least portable on this list in comparison to phones tablets and games consoles. 11/9/2017 0 Comments Tabletstablets are essentially just larger versions of smart phones without the added benefit of being a phone so they mainly serve the same purpose of being used for update on current events via Emails or social media as well as being used for Microsoft office work. cost: tablets can cost anywhere from £100-£400
speed: like smart phones tablets surprisingly are very fast considering their small size and can run things very fast though they are slightly fast compared to smart phone because they are slightly bigger then smart phones accessibility: similarly to phones you are unable to access the internal components of them though some tablets allow access to the battery or SD card portability: just like smart phones tablets are designed with the idea of them being portable so they are created small and light weight to accommodate this design choice 11/9/2017 4 Comments games consolesgames consoles as the name implies are designed to play game though they are capable of accessing the internet they are mainly sold for their ability to play games cost: for games console of recent years they can cost anywhere from £ 300-£ 400
speed: games consoles are designed to play games so in that aspect the can run game at a smooth 30 frames per second though if they try to run any other program that isn't readable on a disk they have trouble running it smoothly. accessibility: game consoles are usually closed of as they do not allow for upgradability and you would have to break the console to access the internal components. portability: some console such as they Nintendo switch are portable console which allow the user to carry it around with them and play it on the go though most console are intended to be plug into a tv so their portability is limited 11/9/2017 0 Comments smart phonessmart phone in comparison to personal computers or laptops are much more personal devices that more or less just a portable phone that has access to the internet, This allows you to send emails, use word online, and do work on other programs if necessary. cost: any good and reliable smart phone will cost you anywhere from £180-£500
